Rubs & Spice Blends

Simply Sunday’s Southwestern Dry Rub

This dry rub is a staple in my kitchen

This is a very simple recipe, that you will find many great uses for as it goes great on pork, chicken and even certain fish like salmon, that can stand up to it!

Start with a tablespoon of kosher salt

A tablespoon of ground black pepper
 A tablespoon of garlic powder
A tablespoon of onion powder
2 tablespoons of chili powder
2 tablespoons of paprika
1/2 half cup of brown sugar
Give this all a whisk to blend together
And that’s that, a delicious rub with a lot of different notes to bring out flavor in anything you can sear, roast and grill!!!
Store whatever rub you don’t use in a sealed jar for another great use!!
