Roasted Cauliflower

You’ve probably heard me say before that roasting veggies brings out their “nuttiness”

It’s also one of our favorite ways to eat veggies!

Roasted Cauliflower is the best example of how roasting can enhance the flavor… you take a hard, somewhat boring veggie (in my humble opinion) & roast it to delicious, nutty perfection

This can be done in only a few simple steps with only a few simple ingredients!

All you need is a head of cauliflower, some garlic cloves, olive oil and Simply Sundays’ Everyday Seasoning of kosher salt, black pepper, garlic and onion powders

Cut the tough core out of the bottom of the cauliflower head and discard.  Cut the rest of the head up into bite sized florets

Spread out onto a sheet pan & drizzle with enough olive oil to coat each floret, but not to over saturate  We still like our veggies to be healthy!

Sprinkle with spices and pop into your pre heated 375 degree oven

After about 10 minutes, I like to give them a stir to make sure they are cooking evenly and then put back into oven for another 10-12 minutes, until the florets can be easily pierced with a fork

And there you have it!  A great side to go with many different meals or even a healthy lunch with some arugula
