This could quite possibly be the easiest crock pot pork I have ever made. This is definitely a hectic week dish for sure!
I’m inspired by this dinner from my childhood. My Mom would oven bake pork chops, add Chinese Duck Sauce and bake and bake and bake. This was such a simple, basic dish but the sauce became so rich and the pork so delicious, that I never forgot it
You know those dinners from when you were a kid that you miss? That just bring back memories?
Well, this is one of them.
So I was pressed for time and I had a small pork roast, and I had an epiphany…
Duck Sauce Chinese pork… In the crock pot!
That’s right, super easy on a baseball-soccer-homework kind of night
So all I did was carve as many 1 inch boneless chops as I could out of this wee roast, or you can just buy boneless pork chops here and follow the rest of the recipe
I laid these out in the crock pot
I then seasoned them with about a teaspoon each of kosher salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder
Next is 2 cups of your favorite Chinese Duck Sauce. Pour this over your pork and be sure to spread it evenly
Cover the crock and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8
At about the halfway mark, uncover, flip your chops, cover and let cook. If your not home and can’t flip, no biggie, they will still be great!
Serve the chops with the delicious sauce and dig in!
