We’re always looking for healthy snacks for our kids to eat
I feel good about sending them to school with a baggie of flavorful Homemade Trail Mix and they love it!
And it couldn’t be more simple. Measure out 1/2 cup each of your favorite mix of dried fruits and nuts
We’re using a combination of banana chips, craisins , dried coconut flakes, cashews, pecans, M&M’s & dried apricots
So… M&M’s may not be on the top of the nutritional chart, but many trail mixes contain dark chocolate I’m just substituting with what’s in my pantry (wink, wink)
Measure out a 1/2 cup of each and toss in a large mixing bowl
Scoop about 1/2 cup of the mixture into snack sized baggies and watch them disappear!

1/2 cup each:
Dried coconut flakes
Measure out each ingredient, stir in a large bowl and scoop 1/2 cup of mix into individual snack baggies
