Two short glasses of Mango Lassis garnished with fresh mint on a table with plants in the background

Mango Lassi

Sweet mango, tangy Greek yogurt and a punch of spiced rum make this slushy cocktail perfect for warm weather!

It has fruit so it must be healthy, right??  Well, I’m not sure about that but I do know that Mango Lassis are delicious!

Why is it called a lassi??

A Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink that is popular in India  It’s typically a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit Mango lassis have a texture similar to a  milkshake

We’re going for the “milkshake” version and adding in mango chunks.  We’re also adding some rum to make it a happy hour treat!

Measure 1 1/4 cups of peeled fresh or frozen mango pieces, 1/2 cup of spiced rum, 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup of Agave or honey, 2 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt, a pinch of kosher salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper
