Easy Creme Fraiche

Not sure about your grocery store, but pre-made Creme Fraiche is seriously expensive in mine!

So, I’ve learned how to make it for half the price!

2 cups of heavy cream (do not use ultra-pasteurized cream, it will not work!)

3 tablespoons buttermilk*

Mix both ingredients in a jar and leave out on your counter room temp for 12-18 hours covered with a clean tea towel

Stir and enjoy!

This is so easy, I only took one photo!

Note ~ will last for up to 2 weeks in a covered jar stored in your fridge

*Simply Sundays note: to make your own buttermilk:

1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon lemon juice – let sit 12-15 minutes to curdle
