Buttery Poppy Seed Twists

All you need is 3 ingredients to make these elegant, buttery pastry twists

And they’re super simple… your guests will think you spent so much time putting them together!

Shhh… I won’t tell if you won’t

Defrost 2 sheets of puff pastry according to package instructions

Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and measure out 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds

This is also a good time to preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment sprayed with cooking spray

Place one sheet of puff pastry on a floured surface and roll out with a rolling pin, lengthwise.  Brush with half of the melted butter

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the poppy seeds evenly over the pastry and slice into one inch strips

Fold each strip in half and give a twist

Place each twist on the prepared sheet pan.  Make sure they aren’t touching each other, they will puff up a little

If there is a little butter left over, brush the tops so they get a nice brown color

Repeat all steps with the second puff pastry and remaining butter and poppy seeds
