There’s nothing like creamy Brie cheese topped with sweet apricot preserves baked in a light and flaky puff pastry
This is a simple appetizer that is elegant enough to start off your Holiday gathering and flavorful enough to stand up to a Superbowl Game day snack table
You’ll need a wheel of Brie cheese, a sheet of puff pastry and good quality apricot preserves
Defrost the sheet of puff pastry according to the package directions and roll out
Place pastry in a pie plate, add the Brie wheel in the center and top with about a cup of apricot preserves
Fold each corner into the middle and pinch the seams so the puff pastry is sealed
Mold into a circular shape and pinch the middle points into a cone shape
At this point, you can cover in wax paper and wrap the entire pie dish in plastic wrap and chill overnight if you are not baking immediately
When you are ready to bake, brush the top of the pastry with a beaten egg
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 – 25 minutes or until the pastry is a golden brown color
Let the Brie puff sit 5 minutes before cutting into it
Serve with your favorite crackers, toasted baguette or apple slices
This creamy deliciousness could only be elevated by serving with a crisp Chardonnay Just sayin’
Enjoy!

Oh Susan, this is awesome! I have made many a baked brie and never thought to pair it with apricot, which is odd, because it is my favorite jam! I can’t wait to try it!
Thanks Beth! Hope you love it!
A five star recipe indeed. For me the combination of goats cheese and apricot sounds like plain perfection. I must try this over the Easter holidays for sure. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks Ramona! It’s actually made with brie cheese but goat cheese would be good also!
This is such a delicious recipe! I love baked brie and the idea of putting apricot preserve sounds yummy!
Thanks Jacqueline!
I love baked or fried cheese with something a little fruity, this sounds heavenly and I don’t care what my cardiologist says 😉
The apricot counteracts the brie so your cardiologist would give you the green light! lol
Isn’t baked brie in puff pastry the best? It’s so easy and you can use any jam or preserve, so versatile! I love that it’s so impressive too!
Oh my! I love this! Total decadence! and unbelievably do-able! Thank you for my next party trick!
